Microbes are living organisms that are naturally occurring found in all environments. They can be selected from natural sources and grown and harvested in labs – such is the case with MUNOX(r) SR. The isolation and growth of natural organisms provide for their beneficial use in bioremediation.
There are many microbial products available for bioremediation. However, the use of microbes haven’t been widely accepted. Why? Perhaps, because they have not produced the expected or required results – took too long and/or incomplete process. This impression is often the result of using the wrong micorbes on the wrong site.
So, what’s the excitement around MUNOX? It is in the way that the microbes are grown and harvested that make ALL the difference.
Without getting too technical, here are some of the key points to note about MUNOX:
- unique and beneficial microorganisms – the manufacturer’s ability to isolate, identify, grow, concentrate, stabilize and package – the processes and technologies used is beyond any other in the industry
- produced under patented processes – know-how developed over more than 40 years of producing commercial cultures
- meets and/or exceeds industry standards – highest Quality Control – the manufacturer has raised the bar and has established itself as the industry leader
- since 2003, the only product of its type to have the Design for the Environment (DfE) - the product was developed in partnership with the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
- listed on the EPA’s National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan (NCP) product list
MUNOX delivers results:
- beneficial microbes in high concentration – takes out the guess work
- non-sporogenic, healthy and proficient – they go to work immediately, without germination and multiply exponentially, as they metabolize contaminants as their food source and eventually overtake the contaminants until eliminated – then the microbe themselves die off
- non-pathogenic – new technologies used for pathogen detection, ensure safety for humans, animals and the environment
- no environmental impact – sustainable solution
